Applied research and outcome evaluation for government services.
My work sits at the intersection of applied research and product evaluation — grounded in direct research with the people a service is meant to reach, and sharpened by utilizing data and computational methods that surface patterns at scale. Over the past decade I've brought that lens to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the U.S. Department of Labor, and California's Office of Digital Innovation.
I am currently a Health Platform Product Lead at the VA's Office of Information and Technology, where I run the Advanced Health Insights (AHI) platform — VA's enterprise cloud analytics platform for clinical data, live across 80+ medical centers — and own the DAMES program, pairing data science with service design to improve measurement and analytics as a core competency at the VA. In both roles, I work closely with the VA Office of the CTO, Chief AI Officer group, and Veterans Health Administration to advance responsible AI adoption and ensure that analytics capabilities translate into measurable improvements in veteran care.
